A student will only remain eligible as long as he is enrolled in consecutive semesters. The only way a student can take a "break" and still be eligible is if they were out of school for employment with the government (i.e. military service) or not-for-profit (i.e. peace corps). A student who drops out will not be eligible for the scholardship when he returns.

I would like to know if a student drops out of school [college] in the first semester of the bright flight scholarship, then wants to return to school, can she/he re-gain the scholarship?
