The school offers a great opportunity for gifted children to excel in both in-class programs as well as a large number of after school programs. They are adding a middle school program starting in 2007. Apply early as classes are kept small, gender balanced, and diverse - it took us three years to get accepted but I would highly recommend the school for the curriculum, faculty, and facilities.

We have been extremely pleased with our experience at The Open Window School. Our two highly capable children are consistantly challenged to think and work interdiciplinarily with great academic depth, not simply accelerated through grade level after grade level of material. They are nurtured in ways that allow them to act and be their age. Brilliant leadership drives the vibrant teachers. The Open Window School is a thriving community with high parental involvement.
