Description: The West Virginia Governor's School for Mathematics and Science (GSMS) is a summer residential program providing academic enrichment in the areas of science and math for current 7th and 8th graders living in and attending school in West Virginia. West Virginia University and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory at Green Bank will be the sites for GSMS in 2010. Central research themes are chosen each year, and the enhancing activities broaden students' understanding of the role of scientific research in society.

WVGSMS is an extremely fascinating, intriguing, and educational cost-free program that I would recommend to any student serious about mathematics and science.

GSMS was a real good program. I learned a lot from the teachers.
