I attended MGS in 1984. It was such an amazing learning experience that initiated my life long desire to learn.

I went to MGS 2003, and have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life. I made lifelong friends and learned many amazing things. MGS is a great program that kids should be encouraged to get involved in!

The Mississippi Governor's School was an awesome experience! I attended it during the summer of 2007. No, it is not a place to learn how to be a governor. There, you learn leaderships skills, along with team skills. Sometimes, I didn't even realize that I was learning because I was having so much fun. Upon arriving there, I thought I was going to be an oddball, but actually, we were all oddballs. We became one big family. We became, and will continue to be, lifelong friends!
