Founded as an outreach program of The University of Texas School of Music in 1979, the Longhorn Music Camp is now one of the premier summer music programs in Texas. Annually the camp attracts more than 900 youth, ages 11-18, from around the nation. Its goal is to increase the love of the musical arts by nurturing musicianship and artistic growth, while encouraging continuing education by providing an exciting and rewarding camp experience to both the campers and their families. |
