Contributed by: Parent on 2/5/2005 My 9 year old son uses Word Roots to substitute for repetitive classroom vocabulary work. At first, he liked it very much. Understanding word roots breaks open the code. For an avid reader, it was fun to see where words come from.
Each page, while it introduces new word roots, presents the material in a very similar fashion. That means he's finding this repetitive now, too! Overall I'd say the material is interesting, but unfortunately the exercises are pretty much all the same.
