Description: The Governor's Summer Program for Gifted and High-Achieving Students provides an opportunity for outstanding gifted and high-achieving students to participate in and use the resources of Florida's universities and colleges. Institutions of higher education submit proposals to provide day or residential, summer programs for gifted and high-achieving students entering grades 8-12. Past programs include: Discrete Mathematics Structures and Linear Algebra: An Application Perspective; Connecting to Florida Architecture; Engineering Scholars’ Program; Glassblowing/Sculpture and Dance/Theater; Gator Lab; Mathematics and Engineering Program.
