Description: The Hudson Valley Writers' Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote the appreciation of literary excellence and to stimulate and nurture the creation of literary works in all sectors of the population. It offers classes for professional and amateur writers, presents public readings by well-known and emerging prose writers and poets, does outreach work in several community sites, and publishes at least one book of poetry each year.

There are some excellent programs offered which would benefit young, talented writers. These are offered on weekends and in the evenings. It brings the participants in contact with local authors and some well known authors.
