Description: The Chesapeake Bay Governor's School for Marine and Environmental Science is a public coeducational day school for students in grades 11-12 who are from the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula areas of Virginia. The school provides the opportunity to explore connections among the environment, math, science, and technology -- developing leaders who possess the research and technical skills, global perspective, and vision needed to address the challenges of a rapidly changing society.

The school gives students hands on experiences in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. It gives students the chance to earn college credit while still in high school.
