Description: Washington University in St. Louis is committed to helping talented students who show exceptional academic performance and outstanding promise. The Academic Scholarship and Fellowship Programs offer financial assistance based solely on academic achievement. Scholarships and fellowships are awarded through special competitions. Recipients generally score in the top ranges on the SAT I’s or ACT’s. Most are in the top 10 percent of their high school classes and have followed an extremely rigorous curriculum.

Excellent scholarship and academic opportunities for students who have a demonstrated interest in or talent in a specific domain. Many of these are full scholarships, awarded in specific interest areas--physical sciences and mathematics, humanities, environmental studies, biological sciences and chemistry, social sciences, business, architecture, art, engineering. Also, most provide some programming in addition to the scholalrship itself.
