Description: The North Carolina Schools of the Arts is a residential High School and College for students who are pursuing a career in the arts. The school's mission is to train talented students for professional careers in the arts. School of the Arts graduates go on to dance with American Ballet Theatre; sing at the Metropolitan Opera; act on Broadway and in film; design Emmy and Tony-Award winning shows; and win student Academy Awards.

Similar to the School of Science and Mathematics, but aimed at students in the Arts, the NC School of the Arts has an outstanding faculty and program.
