Description: Computers affect our lives daily, changing the way we work, play and even think. Now the Internet is central to everything we do. After a computer camp experience, those "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" essays will never be the same. With ample computer time and an emphasis on hands-on experience, campers come to understand the computers' potential and limitations. The impact of computers on our society requires that a computer camp provide general knowledge about computers, computing, and social implications of computers.

NCC is America's original computer camp and is the leader in the field. It is known for how much campers learn and how much fun campers have. I attended NCC and recommend it highly. Be sure to visit the NCC home page at www.NCCamp.com.

Since 1977 National Computer Camps have provided a stimulating environment where cooperative learning is the key to success. This is a possible summer opportunity for Young Scholars who are interested in computers and technology.
