Description: The U. S. Department of State sponsors the "Doors to Diplomacy" educational challenge to encourage middle school and high school students around the world to produce web projects that teach others about the importance of international affairs and diplomacy. Each student team member of the winning "Doors to Diplomacy" Award team receive a $2,000 scholarship, and the winning coaches’ schools each receive a $500 cash award.

The "Doors to Diplomacy" competition is a great opportunity for middle school or high school Young Scholars to get their creative juices flowing. This competition is for web savvy students who are interested in developing their own website. The award for the winner is a $2,000 scholarship for the student, and $500 cash award for the coach's school.
