Description: The University of Idaho College of Engineering sponsors the annual Idaho Junior Engineering, Mathematics, and Science (JEMS) Summer Workshop for students who have completed their junior or senior year of high school. The focus of the workshop is to expose students to engineering problems within technical and social contexts, and to encourage them to enroll in college. Students will participate in lab exercises, field trips, computer exercises, and recreational activities.

This is a summer workshop for students to experience college life for two weeks. Classes are in engineering design, computer-aided design, engineering, math and science. This looks like a wonderful opportunity for students on the West coast who have a passion for engineering. It is located at a nice university and is a very reasonable price.
