Description:	This nonprofit, nonsectarian independent school is for gifted and highly gifted students ages 7-14. The goal of PCCL is to provide each student with an individualized educational program, which focuses not only on academics, but their personal development as a whole.
Comments:	Contributed by: Parent on 11/16/2009 PCCL is a unusual gifted school. It recognizes all the charactericts of a gifted child and encourages the child to grow and explore at the pace required for gifted children. Contributed by: Parent on 1/5/2009 PCCL, or "Pickle" as the kids like to call it, has been an incredibly important discovery for all of us -- me, my wife, and especially our son who attended three schools in the last four years, none of which came close to meeting, or satisfying, his very specific needs. The phenomenal teachers at PCCL have nurtured and engaged his gifted qualities in a way no other school has been able to, while at the same time helping to support him in those areas -- emotionally and socially -- that have lagged behind his intellectual development. Our entire family is so grateful to have stumbled across this little jewel of a school. I only hope more parents -- and their kids -- are able to make the same discovery!
