Description:	Virginians under 21 can join one of the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras, with two training orchestras and two symphonic orchestras. Promising musicians have the opportunity to work closely with conductors and coaches for intense training and development. Each student prepares at least three repertoire programs for performance. Rehearsal times are Monday evenings September through May.
