Description: The Lamar Early Access Program (LEAP) is a cooperative program between Lamar and participating high schools which allows high school seniors to take university courses in their high schools, taught by their high school teachers. Students enrolled in the program may receive both high school and college credit, concurrently, upon satisfactory completion of the course. The courses are regular offerings of the university, taught by carefully selected high school teachers who hold a master's degree in their teaching field.
