Description: Established in 2009, The Elko Institute for Academic Achievement is northeastern Nevada's first K-8 public charter school. Beginning in the 2010-2011 school year, students will be grouped by ability rather than age. In 2010, 200 students attended this school with enrollment based on a lottery system.
