Website: The Middle Years Program
Description: The Middle Years Program, designed by International Baccalaureate® (IB) for students 11 to 16, provides an instructional framework of academic challenges that encourage students to develop links between traditional subjects and the real world, through a comprehensive program of study. The IB Middle Years Programme consists of eight subject groups integrated through five interactive areas: at least two languages (multilingual profile), humanities, sciences, mathematics, arts, physical education and technology. In their final year, students will also undertake an independent ‘personal project’ to demonstrate the development of their skills and understanding.
