Digital Learning Now! is a national campaign to advance policies that will create a high quality digital learning environment to better prepare students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in college and careers. During the fall of 2010, the Digital Learning Council defined the elements and identified the actions that need to be taken by lawmakers and policymakers to foster a high quality, customized education for all students. This includes technology-enhanced learning in traditional schools, online and virtual learning, and blended learning that combines online and onsite learning.
This new, independent online high school, offered through Stanford University’s Education Program for Gifted Youth (EPGY), is a three-year, fully-accredited, diploma-granting program opening April 2006; it is designed for gifted students in 10th through 12th grade.
