This program for gifted high school students in Bellevue, Washington, was created to continue serving the needs of gifted students after elementary and middle school, where these students have access to the PRISM program. This is the first district program to address the needs of these students when they reach high school. Gifted high school students attend Interlake High School, a regular public high school. They will spend half of the day mixed in with the general school population, and half of the day specifically with GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) students in IB classes. Students complete the high school curriculum in 11th grade and for their senior year they can take seminars, participate in internships or take college courses.

Polk County Gifted Education services are available to all qualifying gifted students in Polk County, Florida. An interested parent group formed a committee to propose a school for highly gifted students and in February 2002 the PPS Board approved the ACCESS Alternative Program with an opening 2003.
The Highly Gifted Magnet (HGM) at Portola Middle School, LAUSD, is an academically challenging program comprised of students from all parts of Los Angeles in grades 6-8. English, history, mathematics and science are taught in honors classes where students receive educational stimulation commensurate with their ability; they are constantly challenged and provided with individualized attention.
