The 2006 Davidson Fellows

On September 27, 2006, Jan and Bob Davidson honored three Davidson Fellow Laureates and 13 Davidson Fellows for their prodigious works in Mathematics, Science, Literature and Music.

During the sixth annual Davidson Fellows award ceremony at the Library of Congress, Bob Davidson, co-founder of the Davidson Institute, highlighted the importance of the students work, "These young people will continue to make contributions that will help everyone.  People throughout the world will be listening to their music, reading their literature, and benefiting from their scientific, technological and mathematical achievements for a long, long time."

In recognition of their extraordinary achievements, each of the 2006 Davidson Fellows were presented with an award by Bob and Jan Davidson and received either a $50,000, $25,000 or $10,000 scholarship.
