Registering for the ACT Under 13

We know it can be difficult for some families to find gifted testing, especially for students who aren’t yet in high school.

Did you know students under 13 can still register for the ACT?

Students who are under the age of 13 are able to register and take the ACT. Use the ACT Contact Us form to connect with a representative who can help you and your student register for the test. Parents will then receive an email that contains a Parental Consent form. The student’s parent or legal guardian should fill out the form in its entirety and then return it to ACT-Services@act.org. With the provided information, ACT staff will then create an account on behalf of the student. When that is complete, you will receive an email instructions on how to access the new MyACT account.
