I participated in the Economics camp the summer before my Freshman year had mixed feelings about my experience. While some of the simulations we did were helpful and interesting, we were also required to write a research paper and presentation while we were there, which definitely detracted from the experience. I wouldn't recommend sending your kid to the Economics camp if you want them to have a good time, but I have heard that the other programs were better.
