Established in 2012, Davidson Summer STARS (Successful, Talented, Ambitious, Remarkable, Scholars) is an opportunity available to students, ages 8 to 12, enrolled in the Davidson Young Scholars program.
Participants have the opportunity to explore academic areas in their afternoon sessions. Past sessions have included biology, chemistry, math, creative writing and poetry. Mornings and evenings are spent participating in engaging social activities and academic field trips.

Started in 1999, the Davidson Institute for Talent Development is a 501(c)3 private operating foundation. Our mission is to recognize, nurture and support profoundly intelligent young people ages 18 and under, and to provide opportunities for them to develop their talents to make a positive difference.
