Young Scholars Program Coordinator
Arlene was born in the Philippines but grew up in the beautiful islands of Hawaii. Her first loves are photography, the ocean, and dancing. But now Arlene finds peace in going on adventures, trying new foods, and reading tons of books. Arlene aspires to one day have a toy poodle puppy named Pierre. She loves art and her favorite past time is visiting every museum she stumbles upon. Arlene has a large family, but lives very far away from them so she values every minute that she gets to spend with them.
Arlene loves working at Davidson because she truly believes in the support that Davidson provides for our families. It brings her a lot of joy when a student and their family is able to find the community they have been looking for. In addition, Arlene loves being challenged every day and continues to learn and build upon her skills through the work she does at Davidson.
