Director of Human Resources
After graduating college, Dee started her career at Maxim Integrated products, in Sunnyvale CA. The heart of Silicon Valley. Dee worked at Maxim throughout high school and during college summer breaks. After graduation in 1995, she started her full-time position in inside sales and grew her way to the number one strategic account, Motorola.
After being with Motorola in the strategic account manager role for three years, Dee requested to be moved to Human Resources. Dee really enjoyed all the different aspects related to human resources and grew from an entry level position up to management, in just a short period of time. In 2005, her family decided to move to Lake Tahoe. At that time Dee was splitting her time between Maxim and time with her oldest son.
In 2008 Dee decided to go back to work fulltime. She was hired by the Incline Village General Improvement District in Lake Tahoe in their Human Resources department. She started out as a Human Resources generalist in August of 2008, and was promoted to the Director of Human Resources in July 2011 until she joined the Davidson Institute in January, 2021.
Dee loves to spend time with her family, watch her boys play sports, unwind by watching TV and coloring, and travel all of the US to see her favorite band.
Dee enjoys working at Davidson Institute because of the staff and the mission of the Institute, to recognize the nation’s profoundly gifted youth and support them holistically so they may reach their highest potential….is just an awesome mission to work with.
