Kaylee Edwards

Family Services Coordinator

Kaylee was born and raised in Reno, NV. She received her degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Kaylee has been with DI since September of 2022, where she works as the Family Services Coordinator. Kaylee can be seen during Family Services virtual events as a host and in video segments. She also writes content with the Family Services team. Her favorite part of her job hearing from new families in our program about what they hope to get from their experience.

Outside of work, Kaylee enjoys learning new homemaking skills from antique books. Kaylee almost always has a set of knitting needles in her hands and can be seen knitting winter accessories for various charities throughout the year.  She frequently takes trips to the forest as a form of spiritual rejuvenation.

Kaylee is grateful to have many citizen scientist friends who are always looking for an adventure buddy. She also spends her time studying different cultures and traditions from around the world.
