Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, a summer school of the arts located in Michigan’s Manistee National Forest, offers fine arts education for all ages. The summer camp annually serves 5,000 gifted elementary, junior high and high school students with diverse programs in music, art, dance, and drama. Since its inception in 1966, Blue Lake has provided cultural enrichment to more than 250,000 gifted students and countless concert-goers. Excellent music and arts camp. Easiest and smoothest check-in/check-out of any camp we've ever been to.

This is a great camp! You make friends, improve your artistic abilities, have tons of fun, and learn independence. It's a really good feeling when you get to choose when you want to take your shower or how you're going to use your free time. Uniforms aren't that fun, but it's okay since everyone else has to wear them too.

This was my second time coming to Blue lake. I made so many friends and had a great time. I got into the international orchestra but I might need funding. It costs more than $5,000!

I worked at Blue Lake in the summer of 2005. It was a great experience for me, and I loved the many opportunities it gave the campers to excel in their art. I plan on going back next summer and would highly recommend the camp to anyone!

Best experience of my life. It is a very serious camp. You learn a lot.

Blue Lake Fine Arts camp is the best camp I have ever been too. This year will be my third year attending.
Student on 7/26/2004
My friends and I enjoyed this camp more than any experience and suggest that everyone who is interested in the arts attend. It didn't matter that we were only there to dance, we were still exposed to all forms of the arts and received a well rounded experience.

This camp connects kids with highly motivated peers and helps support their special interests.
