Step One: Application
Submit a separate application for each child interested in attending. Our staff will review the information submitted in the application and follow up with any questions. Families will be contacted no later than February 26, 2021 to confirm that the applicant meets the eligibility criteria and thus will be moved to the lottery. *
Step Two: Lottery
The lottery process will be conducted after the application closes. Siblings will be entered as individuals. We will contact families by March 3, 2021 to notify of their Young Scholar(s) lottery status. Each applicant will be placed in STARS or the Waitlist depending on available space. *
Step Three: Deposit
If your Young Scholar(s) was placed in STARS, we are delaying the deposit payment until Monday, April 5, 2021 due to the unique circumstances of this year. After receiving an acceptance email, your Young Scholar’s place in the program will be reserved, but no financial commitment will be required until the deposit is due in April. No payments will be accepted until late March (exact date TBA). For additional details, see our Tuition and Fees page.
If you choose to not complete the deposit payment by April 5th, we will offer the space to the next person on the waitlist. Once all initial placements have been verified by April 5, waitlisted applicants will be notified of any vacant spaces in the program as they become available.
