Engineering contributions to society made by past Davidson Fellows include:

• Creating a device reduced various types of bacteria present on the surface of potatoes, kale, eggs, and forks by greater than 99%.
• Developing a universal influenza vaccine that will offer greater protection and shorter production timeframes compared to conventional egg or cell-based methods.
• Conducting research research that could not only help make flying safer, especially during military operations for our soldiers, but also prevent the emission of millions of tons of carbon dioxide.
