Ambassador Program

All Davidson Young Scholars are eligible to apply for the Ambassador Program. The purpose of the Ambassador Program is to foster learning and civic engagement through community service, volunteerism and leadership in highly motivated and mature Young Scholars. The Ambassador Program is an opportunity for Young Scholars to draw upon their unique skills and talents to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Ambassadors will develop, initiate and manage a significant community service project, as well as receive training and support on topics such as:

  • Creating a Business Plan & Goal Setting
  • Self-Advocacy
  • Developing Partnerships
  • Philanthropy
  • Leadership
  • Public Relations and Media
  • Website Design

These young social entrepreneurs always welcome community support for their projects, so be sure to visit their websites listing in their project descriptions to learn how you can get involved.

“We are very grateful for all you and everyone at Davidson have done. The Ambassador Program is truly an amazing learning opportunity for our son. He has learned so much from the experience that he can’t find on the books, and he continues to learn every day. The training was systematic and well planned. Most important of all is your personalized guidance with team support, even after the training. That has really made the difference and helped him gain much confidence. He is very fortunate to be able to enjoy working on something he is most passionate about.”
