This book is about a teenage boy who moves away from home to become a writer but soon finds himself tortured with conflict over whether to return to a "normal" life with his friends or continue all alone.

As a gifted child I struggled greatly with balancing my "social" and "academic" worlds. Being raised in a small, rural football community didn't make growing intellectually that much easier. I poured all of these struggles and ideas and questions into ANOTHER SIDE OF PARADISE, and I think your members would be interested in viewing these issues from the perspective of a gifted student (I wrote the premise for the book shortly after turning 18).
