As children get older, parents often expect that they can do more things independently. For some homeschooling families, it’s expected that a high schooler can manage their own time, stay on task, and be consistent in their schooling every day. But what’s “normal” when a student is on a different developmental timeline? How much do parents realistically end up helping their high school-aged students with their homeschooling?
