Support for Unschooling

Davidson Gifted Perspectives is a video series that examines a number of different gifted-related issues and viewpoints.

Not every gifted child is keen on academics, and traditional schooling situations may not be a fit. One of the educational alternatives in our community is unschooling, which takes a child-led approach, centering curiosity and interest. Here’s our Director of Family Services talking about how to support a 13-year-old unschooler who isn’t in a school and isn’t interested in traditional academics.
