Helping your Young Scholar find the balance in their interests can be challenging when other exceptionalities come into play. For example, one family shared how their twice-exceptional 9-year-old who loves math has been experiencing anxiety attacks when encountering a hard problem. This child is now saying that he wants to stop studying math altogether because of how stressful it is. Here in this clip, our Director of Family Services shines light on the importance of using different resources and finding accommodations to re-regulate when frustration is present during an activity.
