The PG/ 2e brain is wired to seek out challenging concepts that are new and complex. But this doesn’t make schoolwork easier, unfortunately. Many Young Scholars in our program run into the dilemma of completing schoolwork in a timely fashion, which may be perceived by their teachers as being difficult or inattentive. In a recent webinar, one parent asked our Director of Family Services for any suggestions regarding this. How can parents support a child in school who has continuously struggled with getting worksheets completed that contain content that is easy for him? How can a parent and teacher work together to keep their child engaged in the classroom?
