Setting Boundaries and Saying No as a PG/2e Parent
Davidson Gifted Perspectives is a video series that examines a number of different gifted-related issues and viewpoints.
On the PG or 2e parenting journey, setting boundaries is one of the most important skills that you practice. Your child may have the interest to participate in various opportunities, programs, meet ups, and other activities. Although these activities can be beneficial for you and your family, it is important to remember that all our time and energy is finite. But there’s not just external pressure. Boundaries also help us to express our internal expectations. During a recent Parent Expert Series, Debbie Reber gives insight on the art of saying ‘no’ and how to establish boundaries for yourself and your child.
