There is a prevailing belief that gifted kids are good test takers. But that’s not always true. Recently, during a virtual event, a family shared that their Young Scholar’s younger sibling sometimes finds it funny to choose the wrong answer on a test. The parent was wondering how best to support the sibling and the professional who will be administering assessments to this student in the future. Here’s our Director of Family Services sharing why this is actually very common among gifted students and how to support everyone involved in assessments.
